Golden Hour, Iceland
This photographic series highlights my experience of living in Iceland during the Winter season. Due to short amount of daylight, I was literally chasing the Sun everyday and intrigued to discover what the morning has to offer. The long-lasting sunrises and sunsets would cast a golden light over the land on clear days, whereas on overcast days, the land would transform into soft shades of blue. My understanding of "Light" and what it means in our lives shaped during the darkest hours before the dawn in Iceland. I heard the Ocean. The violent, the calm. I found the rhythm of my soul in the thrusting waves of the Ocean. I found the secret of Hope in the golden lining of the darkest clouds. The land is where I belong.
